Opportunities at the Hospital

We have been praying for 4 ½ years that we could have an outreach ministry at the local hospital.  Praise God, the Lord is bringing it all together.  At the end of December, the Lord brought Bang to our church.  Bang is a recent nursing school graduate from the north of Thailand and now works as a nurse in the children’s ward of the Baan Paeo Hospital!  A Christian for about five years, she is a delight and a wonderful addition to our fellowship.  She is already witnessing to colleagues.

Then in January, the hospital invited Bale, a church member, and the small band that she is a part of to sing every other Tuesday from 4-6pm in the park area of the hospital.  People from the outside are free to sit, relax and listen to the Thai folk songs, as are the patients and their visiting relatives.  Now on these Tuesdays, a group from the church goes to listen and talk to people listening as the Lord gives us opportunity.

Pray that God will lead us in this new outreach and that we would see nurses, doctors, patients and visitors come to know Jesus as their Savior.

    Hi Sue,
This is great answer to prayer! May I Peter 3:14-16 be at work in the lives of those from the church visiting and sharing Christ with those at the hospital and produce much fruit for the Kingdom. Thank you for your faithfulness! You are our global focus this week at Lancaster alliance.

What a creative way to spread the Gospel! God bless you as Bales band lifts Jesus high so He can draw people to Himself!
