Hello, praying friends! We have a busy couple of weeks ahead and would love to have you praying with us for upcoming events and happenings!
We have the Mosaic children’s Easter parties happening this Friday! We will see more than 100 children come through our doors! We also have an English student party on Monday, April 10. This is always a fun time for relationship building! Pray for safety for all involved.
Mosaic will also have a Good Friday showing of the Passion of the Christ movie, and we are doing a community outreach even on the Saturday before Easter, known here as Sabt ANour (The Saturday of light). There are parades and parties happening in all of the Christian communities. Mosaic is going to have a presence downtown handing out balloons and/or face painting. It’s an effort to let people know we exist and that we want to be part of the local community.
We are also doing a handbag drive in partnership with a local relief ministry. We are collecting new purses/handbags filled with feminine hygiene and beauty products to be distributed to women in need. Pray for the drive to be successful and for each woman who will receive a bag. Pray that she will know her worth as a child of God who created her and loves her. <3
End of school things are happening. Thomas is in exam season now. Please pray for our kids to succeed!
We got to take a family trip to Tel Dan National Park on the Lebanon border. Family days have been few and far between with our busy work schedules. It was a lovely day (though we did get caught in a downpour!) and we are grateful or the opportunity to get away and see God’s gorgeous creation. I am particularly grateful to see and hear the sounds of a flowing river! I miss water while we are living in arid, desert Jerusalem.
Thanks for praying with us and for us! We are so grateful to have you all over the world holding us up in prayer!
