The Brandenburg Gate

We continue our year of home assignment here in State College, PA, but we’d like to ask you to continue praying with us for the ministries happening in northeast Germany. We’ve recently received the following prayer requests and wanted to pass them on to you…

  1. Christine, the wife of our German partner pastor (Rainer) has been diagnosed with cancer. She will be receiving chemotherapy starting at the end of January. At the end of the approx. 5 month chemo treatment she will have an operation and then radiation. Please pray with us for Christine and her family!
  2. Because the church building that the EKW (German church plant) has been meeting in for the past 6 years was recently sold, they have had to find new options for a Sunday morning worship space. During this transition time several families have decided to leave the church. Please pray for wisdom, endurance, encouragement, unity and vision for the church leadership that remains.
  3. As the church no longer meets directly across the street from our ministry center/art gallery rooms, we are seeking the Lord’s wisdom in what to do with these rooms. The location is ideal and we would love to see ministry continue in them, however we don’t know if we are equipped to continue some of it as our teammates, Mike & Elissa, go on home assignment this summer. God’s wisdom and guidance is essential in this planning time. Please pray that we would recognize the Shepherd’s voice!
  4. Please continue to pray for the outreach efforts happening with German, Spanish and Arabic speakers throughout the cities of Berlin and Waren!

Thank you for partnering with us to bring gospel access to all people!
