What amazing prayer warriors you are!
Before I sent out the prayer request to pray for the wound on Meng’s foot (a student at the Antioch school), the doctor told him that the infection had spread to the bone in his foot. But after you prayed, the doctor said the bone was not involved and his foot began to heal more quickly. It has not completely healed yet, but looks SO MUCH better (he’s been sending me pictures). Thank you for your prayers!
Last week four of our students at the Antioch Bible Institute graduated from the two year program. I’m so proud of them and excited to see where God leads them next. Please pray for them. Two of them will get married in October and pastor a small church in Phnom Penh. One will minister in two churches in the Poipet area, but needs to find work to support himself. And one isn’t sure yet what he will do.
The two first year students also received their TEE certificate and Evangelism Explosion certificate during the graduation ceremony. They’ve both worked really hard this past year. Pray for them as well. They both have said that they aren’t sure if they will be able to return to Antioch for their second year. Pray that God keeps that door open for them and shows them that He is calling them personally.
Continue to also pray for God to call six new students to study at Antioch this fall as well as one new teacher couple.
As for me, I’ll be making my first church visit on Sunday. As you all know, church life is different now and so visiting churches is different, too. Pray for me as I figure out how best to share God’s work in Cambodia in this new climate. Please also pray as I prepare. Ask God to speak His message to the church.
Thanks for having “my back” in prayer!
If your Eastern Pa district (C&MA) church would like me to visit and share about what God is doing in Cambodia and haven’t set anything up yet, I’d encourage you to contact David Dixon at email@example.com to schedule a time. All others can contact me directly to schedule a visit.
