Co-Vid Can’t Stop Love

Posted by Kandi on March 4th, 2021 | 2 comments

For those of you who have been praying and recently asked – the Antioch Bible Institute is now fully staffed – with an additional teacher couple and a single teacher, too. Please continue to pray with us that God would send more students for the next school year (starting in September).

Cambodia has been one of a few countries with official cases of Co-Vid being quite low. However, on February 20th, Cambodia (specifically Phnom Penh) had an outbreak of Co-Vid 19 with more than 100 cases – which is a lot for them. It resulted in everything being shut down again for a while – at least in the city.

Two of Antioch’s graduates, Nhieu & Rebekah, had to delay their plans to marry in October because CoVid closed the borders and their family was unable to travel to the wedding. They then rescheduled their ceremony for March only now to find themselves in the midst of more restrictions. They have decided to go forward with their wedding on March 13th – with a much smaller guest list and more CoVid precautions. Pray for God’s blessing on their wedding and marriage in the midst of all these changes. (See pre-wedding pictures below.)

Praise God for answered prayer. Thank you for the updates. May He keep people free from COVID and give them wisdom and discipline to help stem the increase. Praying with you for more students for the fall. May the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing that you may abound in Hope by the power of Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13) May He also strengthen you to keep your eyes, heart and mind fixed on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith. (Hebrews 12:1) Love, hugs and prayers, Because of Jesus!
