A New Year – New Classes

2022 started off at super speed here at the Antioch Bible Institute. All five full-time students made it back in time for the start of classes on January 3rd and we picked up a handful of part-time students, too. Then on the 11th the English students arrived.
Yippee! After many, many years of waiting, the optional year of English and computer training for graduates of our Bible schools has started with our Canadian colleagues, the Schmidts, taking the lead. Because this is the first year of the program and permanent housing for the English students hasn’t been worked out yet, they will live at the Antioch dorm. This first year they’ve accepted only five students and are off to a great start. Two of the English students are married with a two year old son – who we hope will become good friends with our teachers’ three year old son. We are truly an intergenerational school now with several toddlers all the way up to 64 year old Auntie Sok.
Pray for us as we all get to know each other and the English students adjust to the school and the city (they are all from the countryside).
Thank you so much for your faithful prayers. I know a Bible school might not seem as exciting as say, a church planting ministry, but it is important. You prayers and support are building a generation of leaders who will impact God’s Kingdom here for years to come!
And let me also give a heartfelt thanks to those of you who have sent gifts toward my ministry in recent months. This year I have been so busy I haven’t had time to think about fundraising and have just been praying for God to provide. Thank you for being answers to those prayers!
